What is an AI skill?
An AI skill is a folder of instructions, with optional scripts and reference files, that teaches an AI agent to do one job the same way every time. Skills in the type.com Skills Library use the open Agent Skills format: a SKILL.md file plus supporting files.
Can I use these skills in Claude Code or Codex?
Yes. Download a skill and extract it into ~/.claude/skills/ for Claude Code or ~/.agents/skills/ for Codex. To add it to your type.com workspace instead, choose Use Skill on its page.
Who reviews the skills?
The type.com team reviews every skill before it is published. Skills from outside authors credit the person or company that created them.
What is a skillset?
A skillset packages related skills, plus the shared definition skills they rely on, so you can install them together. Installing a skillset makes its skills available; it does not run them.
Can I request a skill?
Yes. Choose Request a skill on this page and tell the type.com team what the skill should do, which tools it needs, and what a great result looks like.
